“This obscure ridgetop trail will give you a nice backcountry experience.”

FR 2050 is a great experience with a big payoff at the end. While it does get some ORV use its not in terrible shape considering. There is a heavy gravel base overlaid with a few years of pine duff and packed sand.
At times the road feels like a trail and the views at the overlook at the end are worth every step along the way.
There is a lung busting hill after the FR 2052 split.
