“A pleasant but uneventful flatland hike”
— David Orner
Features: River/Creek — Wildlife
This is a largely flat loop, it is a ranch after all. Getting to the trailhead involves driving through Mueller State Park, it begins right next to some campsites. The trail starts flat and you gain 500'ish feet all at once towards the end as you complete the loop. Along the way are some hold ranch structures, some still in good condition and others in disrepair/dilapidated. It's overall a pretty uneventful trail with not a lot to look at - it would be nice in the winter with snow accumulated on the ground and maybe a bit nicer in Spring/Summer when the grass isn't all dead, but I would avoid it in the mid-late Fall.
