Overview

Mt. Hamiguitan is the only mountain in the Philippines under UNESCO World Heritage Site and ASEAN Heritage Park. The mountain was also known as sanctuary of bonsai trees and home of famous Philippine Eagle PAMANA. It was closed for years, and it will be opened soon on its 2nd Year UNESCO designation anniversary on June 25, 2016. The mountain will be opened in a special event, and you won't want to miss it!

* 50x river crossing for 50km (25x out & back)
* 46x river crossing for 25km (23x out & back)
* 44x river crossing for 10miles (22x out & back)
* Forest and open trail
* Cliff and ridges running/trekking for 50km & 25km
* Lots of Drinkable Springs & Natural Swimming Pool
* Starting Point: 15m Above Sea Level (ASL) only, 20m away from shoreline
* Highest Point: 800m ASL – Mt. Hamiguitan Trail Race Peak @ Siete Altares 1km+ below Mt. Hamiguitan summit
* Temperature: Windy and cold at the forest and ridges

Flora & Fauna

Pitcher plant and ground orchid are very common on trails.
