Check the signs at the trailheads.
Cathedral Hills trail system offers a wide variety of ways to put in many miles on the trails. This is one of my favorite ways to get 6+ miles in of enjoyment.
Rocks, Roots, Steeps in a couple spots.
The run is entirely on dirt trails, mostly singletrack, but a couple sections could be called doubletrack. From the Espey Road starting point head directly SE from the parking lot staying to the RIGHT the entire time until you hit the "W" trail sign. Head up the "W" trail for about a half mile and then either head straight or to the right to complete the "Wild Rose" loop. After the "Wild Rose" loop, head back down "W". Take a right at the intersection at the bottom of the "W" trail and follow the doubletrack staying to the right on the "Cloverlawn Loop." The "Cloverlawn Loop" will take you right of the doubletrack midway up the hill. Follow "Cloverlawn Loop" singletrack until you get to a steep downhill doubletrack. Follow that down hill. At the 4 way intersection take a Right onto the "Outback Trail." Follow Outback about 1 mile. At the next intersection you'll take a left to "Timber Riders." Follow Timber Riders another 1 mile+ until you see the Outback trail on the right again. Follow Outback until you are back to Espey Road.
