A worth-while jaunt off of the connector trail.

Overview

Features: Spring — Views — Wildflowers — Wildlife
Dogs: Leashed

Description

The Pond Loop connects to the Nameless Bypass and Filipponi Trail at two points near two power line towers. The northern connection is up the drainage where the road turns. The trail is well-made with some technical rock work and features. Keep an eye out for the welcome bench and bridge located under a tree at a stream crossing. The small body of water may be dry in the later summer, but flows in the winter and spring. This loop connects with the Miner's Loop and ultimately the Ocean View Trail.
