Features: Birding — River/Creek — Swimming — Views — Wildlife
Need to Know
Bring sunscreen, lots of bug spray.
From the ranger station head east to the beach. Then hike south staying close to the water line as the sand is the hardest packed there. After 4.5-5 miles look for a sign indicating the Pine Trees campground. Another .75 miles and you should arrive at a beautiful campsite. Beware the mosquitoes, highly recommended as a late fall hike!
