Features: Fall Colors — River/Creek — Spring — Wildflowers
Make sure you are ready to run through some wet areas. Some of the trail is a little creek bed and also covered by plants.
The trailhead to this trail starts off of Cumberland Drive in Rugby, TN. You can park at the church off of the main road through Rugby and walk to the trailhead. This trail is seldom used and during the spring and summer months, you'll have a lot of wet areas to cross, so be prepared to get your shoes a little wet and muddy. Some places, the trail is covered by ferns and other plant life, so there is a little bit of detective work to do. Most of the trail is on Private land, but then does cross over onto the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
This trail will connect to the Gentleman's Swimming Hole
Please check back for a full description.
Make sure to watch for snakes on the trail.
