Features Views · Wildlife

Overview

This is a rare opportunity to visit the west side of Antelope Island that few visitors get to see with panoramic vies of the Great Salt Lake.

There are a of couple sections where it is it easy to get lost. This map can help avoid that, and it would be advisable to download the Utah area in the Trail Run Project mobile app.

Description

This race is a big loop of the island that follows the Antelope Island 50k route starting and finishing at the White Rocks Campground.

The route takes you to the west side of the island that is rarely visited. The trail requires careful navigation with some short sections of bushwacking (really, grass-wacking since the island is covered by grass and there are few trees or bushes).

One of the many buffalo on the East Side Trail of Antelope Island. I really didn't like getting this close!
