Part of the Mt. Bachelor Ski Area - closed in winter to running.
Designed by 2011 World Mountain Running Champion Max King, this course features a mix of singletrack and dirt service roads. Loop length and climb/descent closely matches the 2015 World Mountain Running Championship course (Wales). Men run 3 loops for a total of 12k. Women run 2 loops for a total of 8k. A 4k community race is available for first time runners and younger juniors.
Need to Know
Nike Trail Running tech t-shirts for all runners, craft beer from Deschutes Brewery available for runners 21 and over. Day of race registration available.
Starts and finishes at Sunrise Lodge. Follow the course counter clockwise. Course is only marked on Friday/Saturday of race weekend.
History & Background
Same start/finish area as the annual Flagline Trail Fest organized each September by Superfit Productions. 50k and 1/2 marathon available.
