The Stoll Memorial Trail is an easy loop that starts at the Rock Harbor Lodge and winds east to Scoville Point
. The trail is well-maintained and is popular among runners and can be a great warm-up trail if you're staying at Rock Harbor Lodge or Campground before starting your big backpacking adventure.
Keep an eye out for moose on the trail... rumor is that it's a favorite spot for mothers who bring their young here to escape the potential for run-ins with wolves further from the human presence around the harbor.
