Features: Birding — Fall Colors — River/Creek — Wildlife
This trail links Olley Lane with Wakefield Chapel road. It is flat, fast and smooth on the doubletrack portion along the creek. The only downside can be the bugs/gnats at dawn and dusk. The part of this trail along Braddock is very bad--paved, but hilly, choppy and you have to pay attention.
This is part of a larger, longer trail system. There is a parking lot on the far side of Guinea Road which would be a good spot to start. There is also a parking lot right on Wakefield Chapel near the playground. Either way you go, it's probably a better out and back run than a circuit. This portion does have two street crossings. From Wakefield Chapel you can dump into the Wakefield Park trails for a fantastic run.
