I almost rated this wide dirt road intermediate just from its relentless steep climb, but not quite.
From the end of Worsham Canyon Trail
, take the fire road uphill and climb through dusty brown hills to an intersection with Elderberry
Trail, and stay right. From there, the trail is affectionately known, unofficially, as the 5-B's. It is a series of really steep grades for about a quarter-mile, then two last pushes to the peak.
