Overview

only for winter, and is better if you go with a group of runners because there are some lonely parts.
The weather is amazing, cold and fresh, with a lot of sun in the road, the ground is soft, sand and rocks that are not problem until you return to the beginning of the route. The special of this route is the people that you find, local people, that salute you with a smile, the strawberry and corn farms.

Runner Notes

Big downhill at the beginning, take it slow if you're unexperience. No marks on the road, so, you need to go with someone who already run there or have a good GPS and orientation for take the routes.

Description

Make sure that you know the route, this doesn't have any sign about what road you should take, this route is in a little towns around Tecpan.
At the beginning of the road a lot of trees and easy uphill, once you're out of the little woods, you find a long downhill, easy but with sand and small rocks, be careful. After that, you're in a flat terrain with small inclination up and down at the first 5km, then start a uphill until the 10km. The road is around a little villages of Tecpan, you can see strawberry plantations and local people. At the return, from the 15km, you start a uphill in the pines forest and at the end you'll have a great view of the Highlands (you have to take pictures hehehe), the last 5km are a little hard because you go up and there's places were you'll find big rocks and roots, at the end you'll arrive to the beginning, and you can have a great breakfast in the restaurant :) :) enjoy the run!!
