Description
West Fork Skeleton Creek is a trail that can be climbed to create a larger loop, or used as an out and back. From the bottom of the trail, the first part has some short steep pitches before it mellows and climbs a valley that heads east. The grade is fairly steady with a couple of short steep sections to grunt up. At the junction with Narrow Canyon Trail, the trail becomes a lot more primitive and can be harder to follow.
The final section is usually steep and loose with some steep running. The trail can also have many downed trees, depending on how the winter went. Be prepared for more if you hit downed trees!
