“Twisty singletrack along the coastline of Loch Raven Reservoir.”
— Neil Angotta
This trail is for foot traffic only.
Features: Birding — Fall Colors — Lake — River/Creek — Views — Wildlife
Can be muddy in the low-lying sections after heavy rains, few roots and rocks are easily avoidable.
Great singletrack to get away from the city. Abundant wildlife, deer, fox, birds are seen frequently. There is a fire road that parallels the singletrack that is accessible at several points during the run if you are looking for a short route back to the start. Parking is best along Seminary avenue near the church on the west side of 146.
