Update

The Mountain to Valley Half is the first race in the Downhill Half Marathon Series.

Tom Robson

Overview

  • Traffic will be open in both directions, so please be cautious!
  • EXTREME CAUTION! On Four Mile Rd (which is the last 4 miles of the half marathon course) we are requiring runners to use the left shoulder and 1/4 of the left lane. Although traffic will be lighter during the early hours, there is a one-mile stretch that will require runners to use extreme caution! We ask that all runners run single file and stay in the left lane.
One of the most scenic and fastest running half marathons out there, the Mountain to Valley Half also boasts some of the best scenery around - the Roaring Fork Valley has it all!

Due to its overall downhill nature, expect some wicked fast times on this course!
