Part of the trail from Folsom to Granite Bay. It's beginner-friendly, and nice for a swim during triple digit temperatures.

Parking inside the Folsom State Recreation Area is not free, but there is free street parking nearby.

Flora & Fauna

Excellent foothill woodlands and oak savannah wildlife.
