Tornillo Creek Meets the Rio Grande
Getting to the trailhead is one of the most challenging parts of this trail. It requires an unimproved road trip down Glen Springs Road or River Road East to Solis. Trailhead is on right just before you hit the Rio Grande, across a small creek.

Getting to the trailhead is one of the most challenging parts of this trail. It requires an unimproved road trip down Glen Springs Road or River Road East to Solis. Trailhead is on right just before you hit the Rio Grande, across a small creek.
The Mariscal Mine is worth a short detour and makes a nice place for a break.
