There's a lot of wildlife in this area, probably cause people can't drive down this road; it's closed with a gate and most people won't be interested in hiking down a road covered by the lake.

interesting, there's about a five foot shallow sloping climb and they've placed a handrail here. Definitely for all ages of campers staying in the area.

This trail was a road at one point, but when the lake is about five feet above normal, it's lost.

This section of trail seems to be an old road or something. There's a ditch on the up side of the trail and has this feel that it was more than just a hiking trail at some point in the past.

This lake was up 30' higher than this picture in May of 2019. Here's remnants of that flooding. Do not hike this trail when the lake is up.
