Stay Gold Delicatessen Literally the best sandwich I've ever had. Their Brisket is amazing!
Lucky Duck Bicycle Cafe The friendly biker staff make solid espresso drinks—and walk them to your table—as well as a vegan friendly menu. Speaking of, that BBQ jackfruit sandwich is tasty. Plenty of seats, outlets, and wifi.
302 12th St, Oakland CA — (510) 891-1830
Beauty's Bagel Shop A much-anticipated Montreal style bagel shop. Well worth the wait...we've has their bagels and they are hands down the best around these parts. Say hi to Amy for us!
Cosecha Signature dishes include the $4.50 fish tacos and the $7.95 torta ahogada, a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and avocado smothered in red chili sauce.
907 Washington St, Oakland CA — (510) 452-5900
Burma Superstar My ideal meal: paratha + dip, tea leaf salad, spicy tofu, chicken with basil (ask for minced chicken). Will blow your mind. Whiskey cocktails are all good as are the mojitos.
Cholita Linda What a Mexican restaurant in Cuba might feel like. Maybe the East Bay's best fish taco. Killer gauc. Can't wait to come back for the pressed sandwiches and plantains.
Pizzaiolo Go to Pizzaiolo and try the wood fired pizza
Zachary's Chicago Pizza Most people get the thick crust, but the thin is great as well.
5801 College Ave, Oakland CA — (510) 655-6385
Wally's Cafe this is act behind a bar called Bank Club Cafe. park across the St at the PaknSave. else do Adeline St and walk around. the food is cheap and GOOD. I vouch for the falafel, lentil soup and baklava.
Arizmendi Bakery & Pizzeria Arugula, Gorgonzola, Red Onions, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Toasted Walnuts is definitely the best variety they make. stop by, try a slice, and then return the next day they are making the above pizza.
