The access road and parking is only open Friday through Monday and gates close half an hour after sunset.

Access via Tsoutsgish Trail. The trail is signed and starts with a climb up through the trees to a high lookout point at the top of the dunes. Posts mark the way as it crosses the moving dunes. The final stretch through stabilized dunes can be swampy, but has platforms as necessary. It drops the final few feet to the wide beach quickly. There is a sign up in the dunes to mark the trail on the beach side to help people find it going the other direction.
