Need to Know

This trail is also Corridor 5/ NH Primary 140; please be aware of snowmobilers (during the winter).

Description

This trail, also shown as McKeages Camp Trail, starts off Carr Ridge Road (near the Connecticut River). It heads southward along the eastern edge of the Connecticut River, then high along the banks of Lake Francis. It dips down to the edge of Lake Francis, at a place called Six Mile View.

This is an excellent place to take a break or eat a snack, before moving on. The trail gets into a few little bends as it makes it's way towards Cedar Stream Road. It turns right to cross over a bridge, then follows the road. This trail ends when it reaches the next bridge over Cedar Stream.

Flora & Fauna

Fauna: Blister Beetles.
