Description

Follow the red blazes for this trail. It's also used as a snowmobile trail in the winter so the majority of it is several feet wide. You can start this trail from either end or even several locations in the middle. A popular location to start is via the Old Stage Road Trail/Jesus Valley Road.

This trail is a nice alternative to some of the more crowded Mount Major trails with a similar level of difficulty. This trail features steep rocky sections, flat sections, and wet swampy areas.

You can also use this trail to access Straightback Mountain and trails in the area.
