Description

This paved path through the center of the park offers an escape into the woods without having to get off the beaten path. Offering ADA access to individuals and families, this path is specifically off limits to bikes so you don't have to worry about cyclists whizzing by you. There's lots of wildlife in the park including deer, coyotes, turkey, hawks, armadillos and many other animal species!

it's amazing how these trees have survived hundreds of floods over the years.

The East parking lot shelter has restrooms and water fountains in the summer time and I've seen people make a fire in the fireplace, but not done it myself.
