This is a box canyon and subject to flash floods. Be aware of the weather and tight spots.

Essentially unmaintained, this trail seems to change and move every time I see it. There is some rock crawling in the back.

Essentially unmaintained, this trail is still listed as part of the Honeycomb Wilderness. It seems to change and move every time I see it, probably due to the fact that it is used more by the local game than humans. This trail offers total emersion into the natural beauty of the area and after the first bend, you are alone and free of other humans.

Enjoy the "Flintstone House" style rock formations and colorful rock cliffs and spires. The trail gets rougher and rougher as you go with some rock scrambling well up into the canyon.

The best views are on the way back, but be warned, it gets dark faster in these tight canyons.

Lots of high desert plants and critters. There are wild horses that roam these areas. If you are lucky, stealthy, and downwind, you may get to see them.
