Description

The trail begins at the Rond Lake campsite 5 beach, and follows a wide trail to campsite 6 where it becomes a much smaller trail along the outflow stream. The trail along the stream can be wet or flooded in early spring. Along the way, there are many scenic stream sections, with fast water in the spring. Around 1.25 miles, watch for a pretty area with a small waterfall and rocks along the stream. A cable of unknown origin spans the stream here.

Proceeding, the trail eventually moves farther from the stream and joins an old road, which is generally wide and level, though occasionally overgrown. Just before a bridge over the Round Lake outflow stream, at about 2.4miles, this trail meets Winding Falls Primative Corridor.
