Need to Know
Watch out for cyclists as this is a multiuse trail.
Runner Notes
Watch out for gopher holes, but other than that, this is a great place to run.
Description
Starting at the end of the Anna Jean Cummings Park parking lot, you'll have a slight uphill and then a left turn that brings you into a short downhill section and then back up to a T junction where you take a left.
Get ready for a short downhill that takes you into a grassy field behind Soquel High School. After a long turn, you'll make your way to the more singletrack part of the trail under the shade of the trees. Then you'll make a bit of right turn and take a short climb up into a large field behind Soquel High School.
You'll run right along the edge of the trees for a bit as you make your way around the field. After a slight uphill, you'll come to a junction where you'll take a left up a steep grade and climb to the top of the hill. Now get ready for a bit of downhill singletrack with spectacular views of both the mountains and the bay. You'll then take a right turn down a steep hill leading back to the parking lot where you started.
