This is a beautiful urban trail, tucked away behind residential development. It feels odd heading in, behind housing that is continuing to grow. But once you are beyond the homes, the wetland opens up into a beautiful view.

There is an incredible amount of plant life and birds to see here. The trail is fun with a couple of nice bridge crossings that really put you up close with the wetland. The north end of the loop gets quite narrow due to the ever-growing plant life. You also run through some lower vegetation with wetland soils that often become muddy in the winter.
