This run is 1.4 miles out to the bald and obviously 1.4 miles back to the Pinnacle Park main trail.

Runner Notes

This spur is very navigable as a run. The trail surface is mainly grassy areas and not very rocky.

Description

Halfway through the run you can see a large area of wildflowers, orange, yellow, purple, and reds. The butterflies are abundant and love the flowers. Right before you get to the bald, the trail narrows greatly as you wind through the brush. The result is a 360-degree view of the valley.
