You can park in town and run out to the trailhead or park at the trailhead. This is a fairly easy run with virtually no elevation gain or loss on a dirt surface. It is scenic along the Republican River as a mostly singletrack run.

After approximately 0.5 miles in, you'll cross the river on a narrow plank bridge. After one mile, you'll have 0.75 miles on doubletrack gravel around Keller’s Pond where you can push the speed and heart rate.
