Description

This short trail takes a tour of three rock art panels. The petroglyph panel to the left is from the Ute Indians, dated between 1300 A.D. and 1800 A.D. The next panel you come across is from the Fremont Indians dated between 600 A.D. and 1250 A.D. and is a mix of petroglyph and pictograph art. The final panel is called the Barrier Canyon style and said to be 2000 B.C.

Aside from this trail, cross the road to find an additional Barrier Canyon pictograph behind a modern corral. To the left of that same wall are more Ute petroglyphs.
