Description
Parking is on the north side of the Madison Historical Society building. Follow the red-blazed medallions. The trail starts behind the Historical Society building, follows the back edge of the building, then climbs a small hill along the fence line. The trail enters the woods and climbs moderately. The trail crosses a small brook by means of stepping stones and begins to climb. Here, the trail follows the ridge above Forrest Brook then descends to the right down to the cascades.
While I haven't been able to find a more detailed map of this area, it appears that this trail ends at the top of the cascades.
