This trail begins at the southwest parking lot heading east. Shortly after leaving the parking lot the trail splits; both paths head north, but take a right to follow the eastern side first. Partway through climbing a hill, the trail connects to the Oak-Hickory Trail. Where Oak-Hickory Trail splits off to the right, the trail follows an easement west a short distance. It connects with Glade Trail and Spring Trail at a junction where it turns south and heads back to the split.
This trail is a wide dirt path through the forest, with occasional loose rocks. There is a challenging hill at the end of the trail, which leads to a water crossing that can be tricky if recent rain has occurred. Consider using the bridge on the Thong Tree Trail as an alternative access if the water crossing is difficult.
