Runner Notes

The trail is well-marked with many blazes; know which color you are on so you don't end up running in circles!

Description

This is just one of the many trails in the Hereford Gunpowder Falls State Park Area. The trail is a mix of singletrack and doubletrack with rolling hills, heading over logs and rocks here and there, and with a few small stream crossings too! From the western trailhead, the trail starts as an old fire service road. After going south on the trail and passing the Archery Range to the east, the trail turns westward and heads down a significant hill, turning into singletrack for the remainder. The trail ends at a junction with the Gunpowder South Trail (White).
