This would be a dangerous run for a dog to go on due to the class 3 sections.

Description

This route leaves from the Grizzly Peak East Ridge route, and takes a turn to the southwest. From there, you'll have a tough ascent through scree to reach the summit of Garfield. Your route will likely be marked by cairns along the way, but a map can be an indispensable tool here.

You'll continue along a plateau on the way to Grizzly, and there will be some tough scrambling through class 3 terrain, which will be the most difficult of the route.
