This trail is usually closed by snow from November to June.

Description

The main purpose of this short trail is to provide a link between the Indian Race Track Trail #171 and the Pacific Crest Trail (USFS #2000). It can be used, along with the PCT and Forest Roads 60 and 6048, to run a loop over Red Mountain from and to the Crest Camp Trailhead. It also allows for shorter access to the Indian Race Track from Crest Camp.
