This trail can be accessed from Morro Vermelho via the Rua José Evangelista Marques dirt road. This trail is interesting, although much of it is along a dirt road. The road is open to motor vehicles, but it is very rough so only 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles will attempt to drive to the falls, meaning that the road is not very busy. The waterfall is much larger, prettier, and colder than it looks. It is normal to see other people at the falls themselves although you may have the road mostly to yourself on the run there.
