This park is part of the Florida SW Water Management District. The trail is well marked and is essentially a system of dirt/grass "fire road" type dual-track trail. It is a lightly traveled trail. The trail heads through a variety of ecosystems from swampy areas to pine forest and oak scrub. I did not see an abundance of wildlife, but there were many butterflies and birds.
Flora & Fauna
Pines, oaks and prairie grasses. Typical Florida floodplain and oak scrub plants.
