Description

This trail climbs to Greenfield Flats, one of the most scenic locations around West Mountain. Greenfield Flats is a high mountain meadow that is covered with wildflowers in late June and July. The trail ends at the West Mountain Trail #131, where it joins the Wilson Creek Trail. There are some possible loop options from here.

At times, a lot of cows can be grazing in the area so beware of faint trails when in the open meadows. This trail is currently only cleared every three years by the FS, but the Idaho Youth Conservation Corps and the Back Country Horsemen are working to keep it cut out more often.
