Description

From ~MP 6.5 of the Seward Highway, head up Bear Lake Rd. until it ends at Bleth St. The trail heads into the woods on the north side of the "L" intersection.

The trail winds alongside Bear Lake for a couple of miles before making a steep 700' climb away from the lake. From there, the trail rolls and winds back down to the Seward Highway at ~MP 12. Run the Seward Highway south ~2/3 mile to the Divide ski area trailhead or to connect with the Iditarod National Historic Trail (INHT) - Meridian Lakes Trail.
