Depending on recent rain or spring run-off, much of the 4x4 road involves standing or running water and a river crossing, but it is very navigable.

Description

Middle St. Vrain Road is about four miles of running along a 4x4 road. It is not quite as long as Red Deer Lake Trail. The end of the doubletrack ends at Buchanan Pass Trail, where you can choose to extend your run or create a loop with the Buchanan Pass Trail or run an out-and-back to complete your run.
