The Arawata Track leaves Fernhill to the east, offering a connection to some of the trails west of Queenstown.

Starting from a few hundred feet above Lake Wakatipu, you'll descend down to the lake level. The trail is lined with small bushes and plants and along the way, you've got an awesome view of the Remarkables Mountains across the lake.

The route follows the historical bridle trail connecting Queenstown and Glenorchy.
