Description

The Fence Line Track connects from Auckland City Walk to the Long Road Track and Ridge Road Track junction.

The trail starts with an initial challenging climb to reach the junction with the Cascade Track. From there, the trail levels out and is a pleasant run through the beautiful and shaded forest.

The trail connects to the Waitakere Dam Access Road and you can spot Waitakere Falls before running along the western shore of the Waitakere Reservoir. The trail then branches off to the west before coming to an end at the junction with Long Road Track and Ridge Road Track.
