Runner Notes

Great for those who want a trail experience without much challenge. No roots, predictable footing, and not much large elevation change makes for a great easy run.

Description

The mapped section is a portion of the partially completed Norwalk River Valley Trail, which is similar to a rail trail in that the trail bed is wide and level. Though the landscape is rolling, there are not dramatic or steep grade changes. There is a lot of convenient parking at the Route 7 Park & Ride (next to Orem's Diner). A family-friendly trail with a backwoods feel. This route is great for a gentle stroll, and easy run, and for dog walkers. The trail is also a good trail for those with physical disabilities.

Flora & Fauna
