The trails at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie are open year-round from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Description

The Turtle Pond Trail allows runners to follow a mowed path around the edge of Turtle Pond and the nearby seedbeds. Several benches and picnic tables make this an ideal spot to relax, explore, and enjoy a snack or picnic lunch.
