Runner Notes

This would be a pleasant but short run.

Description

Park on the side of Peaked Hill Pond Rd in the widest portion of the road about 500 feet before the obvious gate. Parking is minimal and would hold a maximum of 2-3 cars.

Begin by making your way past the gate and following the road left at the small building. The trail follows the doubletrack for the majority of the run, with the singletrack sections being well marked by nice wooden signs. The trail is mostly uphill on the way to the pond but is never extremely steep.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of newts and salamanders can be found on the trail and in the pond.
