The route out to Angel Windows Arch is a clear, well worn path that wanders back to Angel Windows. Start at the trailhead, watching out for the mud from the high use. The way is a gentle descent into the forest, as you work your way along the middle section of the ridge.

Pass a number of overhangs which show signs of people setting illegal fires, and continue along the ledge. You'll have to scramble over a downed tree (hope they get that repaired!) blocking the trail, which can pose a bit of a challenge as the roots created a drop off and the tree blocks your path. Once over this obstacle, you'll arrive at Angel Windows. The official trail ends here, where there are some lovely views of the cliffs. Just beware of the drop-off to the right as you go past Angel Windows and use caution when exploring the area.

Return the way you came to get back to the trailhead.
