MST - Section 3 Bypass

This portion of the MST follows unmarked PA Route 26, on sidewalk and well past where sidewalk ends, eventually crossing through an industrial park.

Begin climbing a ridgeline while crossing through the industrial park where orange blazes begin. Watch carefully for blazes around Blue Triangle Hardwoods' active log loading yard. Continue on past a dirt Game Land parking area (drivers have to go through the log yard!) and climb more steeply, eventually passing through the Scully Squeeze rock formation.

From there, continue on upwards, and make your way over large boulders. Meet the MST proper on the top of the ridge. The Blue Triangle-Scully Squeeze portion of the trail will become the main trail once the route is open to Everett's Tenley Path - see hike-mst.org/index.php/guid… for updates.

While this route isn't the most scenic portion of the trail, it is the preferred way to make your way through urban Everett.
