Features River/Creek

Please use restraint during spring breakup. These trails are maintained by volunteers.

Runner Notes

There are a few roots and rocks on this trail but it's basically an easy, pleasant run with numerous sculptures along the way.

Description

After running Greta's Segway, take a left at the Y. This is a nice, mostly downhill trail with a nice wide split cedar bridge built by Chris Bier. The trail ends at the bottom of the pipeline. This is a popular trail for hikers, runners and bikers, so be courteous and follow proper trail etiquette.

Flora & Fauna

There is abundant blue-pod lupine in the spring. The trail winds through Douglas fir, ponderosa pine, grand fir, western red cedar and birch stands.
