It's a short, but fairly steep, climb up this fire road starting from Turnbull Canyon Rd. At the high-point Workman Ridge Trail splits downhill to the right. Stay left and the road will up-and-down its way through grass-covered hills featuring views of both OC on the right and the San Gabriel Valley on the left.

After about a mile on the right look for the start of Worsham Canyon Trail, also known to mountain bikers as the Cow Trail. Then a half-mile of up-and-downs that you get to enjoy on the way back! (sarcasm). Look for a singletrack on the right near the houses.

The west part of this singletrack splits off, and could be missed if not paying attention. For the first half-mile or so it's a mostly downhill singletrack, straight as a board, that runs along back-yard fences and is crossed by a residential street. At the second residential street, turn left downhill and look for the trail on the right a stone's throw away. Here the trail becomes a partly tree-covered doubletrack with the steepest part of its descent to Colima Rd at the very end. Take care crossing Colima there, or look for a tunnel that crosses beneath the street to the left.

From Colima Rd, on the west end of this stretch, the wide dirt road climbs mildly beneath some trees. A short distance after emerging from the shade, the road rises to a trail convergence on a relatively flat area. A seldom-used doubletrack, Skyline Spur - shaded dirt road, descends left beneath trees, eventually re-joining the trail about a half-mile east.

Or stay right at the convergence and the road climbs, then descends to power line towers where it meets the left split. From here the road becomes an old, crumbled black-top (Draper Rd) and turns steeply downhill to Hacienda Blvd (only the occasional authorized truck uses this road).
